NCT ID NCT06430177
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a simple, non-drug technique called Sujok therapy to help cancer patients feel more comfortable during port catheter placement (a small device inserted under the skin for chemotherapy). The therapy involves placing seeds on specific points on the hands and massaging them. Researchers compared 30 patients who received real Sujok therapy, 30 who received placebo seeds, and 30 who received no extra care. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce pain, anxiety, and improve overall comfort during the procedure.
