New therapy aims to break link between childhood trauma and suicide risk

Summary
This study is testing a new 12-week therapy program designed to reduce suicide risk in adults who experienced childhood trauma and currently have suicidal thoughts. The therapy combines suicide prevention skills training with trauma-focused treatment. Researchers are enrolling 20 participants to see if this integrated approach is practical, acceptable, and helps reduce suicidal thinking, anxiety, and depression.
