New group therapy aims to rebuild lives after suicide attempt

Summary

This study tests a group program that teaches emotion regulation and values to help people with depression who have recently attempted suicide. The goal is to improve their ability to handle daily activities and quality of life. Researchers will also use brain scans to see how the program affects thinking and decision-making. About 120 adults who have attempted suicide will take part.
