Tiny study checks if a simple chest strap can track heart performance accurately
NCT ID NCT07318844
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether a non-invasive device that uses electrical signals to estimate stroke volume (the amount of blood the heart pumps with each beat) gives consistent results on different days. Twelve healthy volunteers (6 men, 6 women) had their heart function measured at rest and during exercise on a stationary bike. The goal was to see how reliable the device is, which could help researchers design better future studies on exercise and heart health.
