First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 05, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study is for adults 18 and older who have had a stroke or a transient ischemic attack (TIA), often called a mini-stroke. The goal is to collect information from standard medical tests and some extra research tests, like blood draws and brain scans, to better understand how these conditions develop and change over time. Participants may be asked to return for follow-up visits at 1, 3, and 12 months. This research does not test any new treatments but will help scientists design future studies to improve stroke care.
