Summary

This study aims to understand why some people experience thinking and memory problems after a stroke, while others recover better. Researchers will follow 8,000 stroke patients over time, using brain scans, blood tests, and memory assessments. The goal is to identify early signs of risk for dementia after stroke to help develop future treatments.
