First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether clopidogrel, a blood thinner, can prevent new silent brain infarctions (small, unnoticed strokes) in people who recently had a stroke or mini-stroke. Researchers will track 134 participants over 24 months using MRI scans and cognitive tests. The goal is to find a way to reduce the risk of future strokes and memory decline.
