Summary

This study aimed to understand why some people who have had a stroke or mini-stroke (TIA) do not consistently take their prescribed prevention medications. Researchers followed 633 patients in France for one year after their stroke to track their medication use and identify factors that influence adherence. The goal was to gather knowledge to help improve long-term care and prevent future strokes.
