Blood tests may predict stroke recovery after clot removal

Summary
This study looks at how the body's immune and inflammatory systems change in people having a stroke who receive clot-busting drugs or mechanical clot removal. Researchers will take blood samples at several time points over a year to measure inflammation markers. The goal is to see if these markers are linked to better or worse recovery of thinking and physical abilities. About 300 adults will take part, but the study is not yet recruiting.
