First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at how stress and inflammation affect the brains of women with major depressive disorder (MDD) or premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), compared to healthy women. Researchers will use brain scans, stress tests, and blood samples to find differences that could improve diagnosis and treatment. The goal is to better understand these conditions, not to test a new treatment.
