First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at how stressful life events impact the ability of teens aged 12-15 with depression symptoms to learn a coping skill called cognitive restructuring. Researchers taught the skill and measured how well teens learned and remembered it over six months. The goal was to understand how past adversity affects learning, not to provide treatment.
