NCT ID NCT07470450
First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether combining dynamic strength training (like lifting weights) with isometric strength training (like holding a plank) can lower blood pressure more than either type alone. Researchers studied 60 middle-aged adults with high blood pressure who were already on medication. Participants did different exercise sessions, and their blood pressure was tracked for 24 hours to see which approach worked best.
