First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people over 50 with a stable, inactive form of secondary progressive multiple sclerosis can stop taking their disease-modifying therapy without worsening their disability. Researchers will follow 250 participants for two years to compare disability progression and quality of life between those who stop and those who continue medication. The goal is to reduce treatment burden and side effects while maintaining disease control.
