New stomach stitch study aims to simplify weight loss procedure
NCT ID NCT06299644
Summary
This study is testing if a simpler stitching pattern inside the stomach works as well as a more complex one for weight loss. It will involve 10 adults with obesity who will have a minimally invasive procedure using a special device. Researchers will compare weight loss and health changes over a year to see if fewer stitches are just as effective.
