First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tested a specially designed stent-graft (a tube to support the artery) in 50 people with a bulging abdominal aorta (aneurysm) that is hard to treat due to the shape of the artery. The goal was to see if the device could safely seal the aneurysm without blocking the kidney arteries. Participants were followed for up to 5 years with scans and exams to check the device's performance and any complications.
