Summary

This early-phase study tested whether injecting a man's own bone marrow stem cells into the penis could safely help restore natural erections after prostate cancer surgery. 18 men with localized prostate cancer and normal erections before surgery took part. The approach aims to repair blood vessel and tissue damage caused by the operation. The study focused on safety and early signs of benefit.
