Could stem cell 'Messages' help repair scarred livers?

Summary
This early-stage study tests whether tiny particles from umbilical cord stem cells, called extracellular vesicles, are safe for people with liver cirrhosis. Up to 12 adults with moderate to severe liver damage will receive increasing doses through an IV. The goal is to see if this approach can improve liver function without causing serious side effects.
