Summary
This study tests whether adding a drug called cyclophosphamide after a stem cell transplant can reduce the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), a serious complication where donor cells attack the patient's body. The trial includes 35 adults with various blood cancers or severe aplastic anemia who are getting a transplant from a matched donor. Participants receive chemotherapy and radiation before the transplant, then cyclophosphamide afterward to help prevent GVHD.
