First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether human umbilical cord stem cells are safe and tolerable for people with Parkinson's disease. Twenty adults aged 18 to 75 will receive either stem cells or a placebo, and researchers will monitor side effects and any changes in movement symptoms. The goal is to gather initial safety data, not to cure the disease.
