Could your own fat cells fight ALS? new trial tests spinal injections

Summary

This study tests whether stem cells taken from a patient's own belly fat and injected into the spinal fluid can safely slow down ALS. 75 adults with ALS will receive four injections over a year. The goal is to see if this treatment can help control the disease and improve daily function.
