Could a common cholesterol drug slow blood cancer?

Summary
This study tests whether statins, a common cholesterol-lowering drug, can help people with early blood disorders called CCUS and lower-risk MDS. These conditions can progress to more serious blood cancers, and there are no approved treatments to prevent that. The study will measure changes in inflammation and genetic markers in 16 participants to see if statins can slow or stop the disease from getting worse.
