Can a simple diet change protect your brain? new study targets memory loss
NCT ID NCT07152483
Summary
This study aims to see if eating foods high in resistant starch can help slow down memory and thinking problems in adults who are at high genetic risk for cognitive decline and are overweight. 70 participants will be randomly assigned to eat either the special starch foods or regular starch foods daily. Researchers will measure changes in memory tests, body measurements, and look at gut bacteria and brain scans to understand how it might work.
