NCT ID NCT07458152
First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the angle of a wrist splint affects symptoms like pain and numbness in people with carpal tunnel syndrome. About 108 adults with mild to moderate carpal tunnel will wear a splint at one of three angles (flexed, neutral, or extended) only at night for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in nerve function, pain, and daily hand use right after treatment and again 2 months later.
