Zapping the spine to ease diabetic leg pain?

NCT ID NCT06480786

Summary

This study is testing if a device that sends electrical pulses to the spinal cord can help reduce leg pain in people who have both painful diabetic nerve damage and poor blood circulation. Up to 15 participants who already have the device implanted will try two weeks of real stimulation and two weeks of fake stimulation in a random order. Researchers will measure pain levels, blood flow, and quality of life to see if the treatment helps.
