Spinal implant trial offers hope for debilitating chemo pain

NCT ID NCT05411523

Summary

This study is observing whether a spinal cord stimulation device can help reduce pain and improve quality of life for people suffering from long-term nerve damage caused by chemotherapy. It will follow 20 adults who have already had a successful trial with the device and have not found relief from standard pain medications. Researchers will track their pain levels, nerve function, sleep, and overall well-being over 12 months to see if the treatment provides lasting benefit.
