First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study explores whether a mild, non-invasive electrical stimulation on the back can reduce spasticity (muscle stiffness) in children with cerebral palsy. About 30 children aged 5 to 17 will do movement exercises and receive gentle stimulation that feels like a light tap. Researchers will measure changes in muscle reflexes and stiffness to see if the treatment helps.
