First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study watches 15 adults with severe cancer pain who are getting a procedure called cordotomy to block pain signals. Researchers will use MRI scans to check for swelling in the spinal cord right after and one month later. The goal is to see if swelling relates to how well the pain relief works or causes side effects, helping doctors improve care.
