Summary
This early study tested a radioactive imaging agent called [99mTc]Tc(CO)3-(HE)3-Ec1 in 10 adults with solid tumors. The agent is designed to attach to EpCAM receptors on cancer cells, making them visible on SPECT scans. Researchers aimed to see where the agent goes in the body, measure radiation exposure, and check safety. This is a diagnostic study, not a treatment.
