New scan aims to spot liver cancer more clearly

Summary

This early study will test a special imaging agent that targets liver cancer cells. About 6 people with suspected or confirmed liver cancer will receive a low-dose radioactive tracer and then have a SPECT-CT scan. The goal is to see how the tracer moves through the body and whether it can help doctors see tumors more clearly for future diagnosis and treatment.
