NCT ID NCT07076472
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new treatment called sonodynamic therapy for people with glioblastoma that has come back or is getting worse. The treatment combines a drug (5-ALA) that makes tumor cells sensitive to sound waves, with focused ultrasound waves that target and destroy those cells. The study aims to find the safest dose and see if this approach can help control the cancer. About 8 adults whose tumors cannot be surgically removed will participate.
