First seen Apr 24, 2026 ยท Last updated Apr 24, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 60 critically ill patients with acute kidney injury and shock who needed dialysis. Researchers compared a special dialysis method that adjusts salt levels (sodium profiling) to standard dialysis. The goal was to see if the special method helps keep blood pressure steady and reduces fluid buildup in the lungs. The study measured blood pressure changes, need for blood pressure medications, and lung fluid levels using ultrasound.
