Summary

This study aims to understand how social media use impacts the emotions of 100 teenagers (ages 13-18) who already have depression or suicidal thoughts. Participants will use a smartphone app to report their feelings and social media use twice a day for 30 days, plus complete monthly surveys for six months. The goal is to learn more about the link between social media and mental health, not to test a new treatment.
