First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study will test two common ways to help Native Hawaiian adults quit smoking: nicotine gum and group counseling. About 75 people from public housing sites on O'ahu will be assigned to use gum only, attend counseling only, or do both. Researchers want to see which method works best and is most acceptable in this community.
