This study checked how common smell and taste problems are in 51 people with cardiac amyloidosis, a rare disease where abnormal proteins build up in the heart. Researchers used a simple smell test called Sniffin' Sticks to measure these senses. The goal was to see if these issues could help spot the disease earlier, before heart symptoms get serious.
