First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at 120 university students aged 18-28 to see how well their own reports of physical activity matched the step counts recorded by their Apple Watches. Participants filled out a short questionnaire about their activity levels while their smartwatches tracked daily steps. The goal was to understand if people's memory of their activity matches real-world data.
