Finding purpose at your desk: online logotherapy aims to get workers moving
NCT ID NCT07582055
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests an 8-week online program based on logotherapy—a therapy focused on finding meaning in life—to see if it can increase physical activity and improve quality of life in middle-aged office workers. Two hundred participants aged 35-60 with sedentary jobs will be randomly assigned to the program or to continue their usual routine. The goal is to see if a meaning-centered approach can motivate people to be more active and sit less.
