Summary

This study tests a new bandage called exciflex that delivers small amounts of electricity to help heal chronic wounds that won't close on their own. The study includes 16 veterans with diabetes or spinal cord injury who have wounds on their lower legs. The bandage can stay on for up to a week and aims to improve blood flow and reduce infection without changing the dressing.
