Brain scan study seeks clues to prevent future strokes
NCT ID NCT04611906
Summary
This study used detailed 3D brain scans to understand how small blood vessel disease changes over time in people who've had a small stroke. Researchers followed 24 Chinese patients for one year, scanning their brains at the start and end to see how their blood vessels changed. The goal was to gather knowledge that could help develop better treatments for this type of stroke in the future.
