Sleeping less could harm Women's hearts more than Men's?

NCT ID NCT02835261

Summary

This study looked at whether regularly getting 1.5 hours less sleep increases the risk of heart disease, weight gain, and diabetes in women. For 6 weeks at a time, 54 healthy women either slept their normal amount or had their sleep shortened. Researchers measured blood pressure, body fat, blood sugar, and other health markers to see if the effects were worse for women before menopause compared to after.
