NCT ID NCT05424406
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether being sensitive to stress-related sleep problems (called sleep reactivity) is a key cause of Shift Work Disorder. Researchers will reduce the mismatch between workers' body clocks and their night shift schedule, then see if those with high sleep reactivity still have symptoms. If so, they will try cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help. The study involves 150 night shift workers who already have the disorder.
