Massive 10,000-Person study probes if sleep apnea treatment saves hearts

NCT ID NCT05115994

Summary

This large, long-term study is analyzing health records to see if effectively treating both obstructive sleep apnea and high blood pressure can prevent serious heart problems or death. It will follow 10,000 patients to compare outcomes between those who use their sleep apnea machines regularly, those who don't, and those without sleep apnea. The goal is to understand how combining these treatments impacts long-term heart health.
