First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This completed study looked at how sleep apnea and other health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure affect pain after root canal treatment. 78 adults were divided into three groups: those with sleep apnea, those with diabetes or high blood pressure, and healthy people. They all had standard root canal treatment and rated their pain afterward. The goal was to see if sleep apnea or other conditions lead to more pain.
