First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study followed 127 first-time mothers to see if their sleep quality, anxiety levels, and nighttime phone or screen use before labor were linked to how long labor lasted and whether they needed extra medical help. Participants filled out questionnaires during pregnancy, and researchers tracked their labor from start to delivery. The goal was to learn if these everyday factors might affect labor progression.
