Sleep pill may slow Alzheimer's brain changes in seniors

Summary
This study tests whether a common sleep aid, suvorexant, can slow the buildup of harmful proteins in the brain that are linked to Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will enroll 200 healthy adults aged 65 and older who do not have dementia. Participants will take either the sleep medication or a placebo, and the team will measure changes in blood and spinal fluid over time.
