Summary
This study tested whether a sleep medicine called lemborexant is safe and effective for people with liver cirrhosis who have trouble sleeping. It involved 82 adults with cirrhosis and poor sleep, comparing the drug to a placebo. The goal was to see if it improved sleep quality without worsening liver function or mental sharpness.
