Breathe away the stress: new study tests ancient technique on students

NCT ID NCT07415460

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a specific breathing technique called SKY breath meditation can help college students feel less stressed and anxious. About 53 students will be split into two groups: one learns the breathing method, the other does general yoga. Over 8 weeks, researchers will track stress levels, anxiety, and overall well-being using questionnaires. The goal is to see if this low-risk practice is a helpful tool for student mental health.
