First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether wetting the skin can prevent dangerous rises in body temperature during exercise in the heat for people who have recovered from burns. Researchers will compare burn survivors with different burn sizes and healthy volunteers. Participants will exercise in a hot room with and without skin wetting to see if it helps keep their core temperature down.
