New Single-Port surgery could mean faster recovery for stomach cancer patients

Summary

This study tests if a new single-port robotic surgery system is as safe and effective as traditional laparoscopic surgery for people with early-stage stomach cancer. About 90 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgical methods. The main goal is to see if the new system reduces complications after surgery.
