Viagra drug tested for scleroderma lung complications

Summary

This phase 2 trial tests whether sildenafil, a drug used for pulmonary hypertension, can help people with scleroderma who have mildly elevated lung pressures. Thirty participants will receive either sildenafil or a placebo for 4 months. The main goal is to see if the drug improves how far they can walk in 6 minutes.
