Summary

This study tests a drug called SHR-A1811 in 51 women with HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread to the brain or the lining of the brain and spinal cord. The drug is given either through a vein or directly into the spinal fluid. The goal is to see if it is safe and can shrink or control the brain tumors.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

SHR-A1811 (a drug given intravenously or into the spinal fluid)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could offer a new treatment option for people with HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal lining.
